For the better part of 2008, I kept thinking of starting this blog as a way of connecting with my friends online, not as the anonymous advertiser I had been for the preceding 7 years, but as a human being with a name, as a friend, and as a family member.
This blog post is the beginning of this site’s journey. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. I dedicate this blog to bringing out the best in you through the power of positive thinking.
I am not a guru, philosopher, or psychologist. I am a regular guy on a journey to improve my life; eager to share my lessons with others in the hope that it will inspire you.
Although I have known about blogging for a while, this is the first time I have dived deep into the blogging waters, if you notice any missteps, please let me know and help me improve.
Is there anything you have been postponing?
Is there something that has the potential to change your life, that is within your power to do, but you have been putting off? My advice to you is to take action and just do it. Everything you see around you started as an idea, followed by action. You can create tomorrow’s reality by turning your ideas today into action. Ideas without action are not worth much.
I wish you all the best for 2009. Please post a comment below to let me know you visited.
Cheers.

My first time to visit your blog here..via facebook. Could you have something inspiring that will make me stop procrastinating? before 2004, my life was on the fast lane, career, love life…name it. Then something happened and im no longer enthusiastic about anything. I know i have alot of potential to be successful, vigorous, physically fit and positive thinking…but ive just lost the zest.

@ Karen – hehe you are the first person to notice it, or atleast mention it. Someone jokingly accused me of starting a cult with this website. The message at the footer of this site is a pun. If the blog is a cult, maybe the contents are best viewed by Aliens on the Mothership …yes that mothership

Daniel you are just good be blessed and don’t stop there. Also think about those people who cannot reach you through the internet. You are such a challenge to me for the power of words. I love change for I believe change is invitable we cann’t do without it! keep up the goodwork
[Reply]
Daniel I have known you online since you started Kasarani.com and one thing am now certain about is that you are a vehicle for change. The challenge is for you to remain steadfast as you enlarge your horizons and you can count on me to tell you the truth even when its not the sweetest. I feel the motivation coming from your words and indeed it reminds me of the huge burden before those of us who believe that we are here to make the difference. All the best!

Daniel, like I told you earlier, I was blown away by your ideas, and I meant it. You sound professional, yet still personal, genuine and knowledgable. Keep in mind the philosophy of “think not what others can do for you, but what you can do for others” and sustain your amazing passion for life… and more and more ideas will flow.
You’re growing the wings like the eagles you want to soar like.

Daniel is a born writer (atleast in your mind) but you have finally taken a plunge and you will be shocked by your potential. I have read your blogs elsewhere, and in my opinion, your just going on with you have been doing…now more centralised and focused. I will be following keenly and spurring you on when you slacken…lol. Congratulations and all the bestfor this new venture.

Thank you Paula for the kind words and for being the first one to comment on this blog. Stay tuned, more articles are on the pipe line.

Well, I am the first to comment on this, which I think is an interesting blog…we all have been in a place where we postponed one thing or the other or thought that even if we try some thing it may not work out…I think with all our ideas and lessons we can all make it.
Paula.
