The fear of failure makes people not take action. I was afraid that my writing would not be good enough for the Internet. I knew that I wanted to inspire people but my fear kept me from launching this blog. Then I decided to confront the fear and just do it. I decided to use this as a way of learning and growing. Instead of fearing failure from my perceived weakness, I turned this into an opportunity. An opportunity to grow and learn." That is your best part in the few articles that I have read. Somebody in face book introduced me to your blog yesterday and wow, man there's something in your articles. reminds me of last week's sermon from my home church, 2nd Timothy7," not a spirit of timidity, but of power, love and self discipline.Hey! u can improve immensely by getting rid of simple typing errors. Blessings!

The brains that came up with these words of wisdom ought to to be congratulated without any limit. They set a standard that is not only worth emulation but also envy.May the lord expound your knowledge so that "we" young scholars can learn from you.

Another winner dude! Let's put in the time and effort to ditch our excess baggage to be more free to succeed.

I agree with you, Paula. I also believe in God, so I asked him to help me forgive people who upset me, be more compassionate, empathetic... and He answered my prayers. Emotional baggage I held for years felt like a heavy weight lifted from my spirit. Often it took a while to heal, but I kept at it. It was worth it.

Cheers,
Nyomi

When I saw the title of this article, I was firstly very annoyed with the writer as I could not understand why he should discourage you my friend (and mama Kayai's friends ) from coming to my suburb (Success, Western Australia) when they travel like true African -laden with gifts. I can't remember the last time any of them came calling without a carton of 'xtra Dry'.

I did not realise he was engaging us to a very serious and important topic.. Success.. the only reason WE ALL came so many kilometres away to chase. I believe am right to say we are all at different stages to that elusive destination. And when I look at that list of 10, I can only node with agreement that getting rid of just a couple of those baggages can certainly give us a boost in our quest for success. What is required is the will to make 'structural' adjustments. And what a better time to start than now when we are experiencing economic meltdown in our pockets.

Jesus even said we should take to Him all our burdens and He will carry it for us. I am wondering just like Dan noted above, how can you be on vacation with amm these burdens? We all need that special moment in life when we put aside all the heavy weights and move ahead lightely
