lol the comments are very funny! u got so many on thisone Dan.. lol..Alcohol is so worthless such that there is no cost for it at all,… I have seen people go from one glass to I dont know how many per day.. and trust me I have one family member who is a member of the club..

Good article..drinking can be good if controlled..as earlier said there’s more to life than pubs!..i have never been a heavy drinker(thank God), and find excessive drinking offensive..

i find it really interesting that “drunks view the world differently” as an BENEFIT. i would refute every argument that make the consumption a benefit but unfortunately i have no time , instead i can only say ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION IS THE ROOT OF MOST EVIL.i challenge anyone to disagree. After writing this article, and the struggle I had to find positive effects, I may cut off my occasional drink as well.

Moderate drinking can be said to be a neutral action.The problem is, very few people can be able to control their drinking habits.

Many receive advice but few profit from it.I hope i will be counted among the few.

hi…its now approaching 1yr since I had my last drink (in perharps 2-3 wks time)…I used to think that my social life would suffer but i can definately say that my social life has never been better than in the last yr. i would encourage anyone out there having issues with alcohol to actually try a few months at least without the stuff and judge for yourself the effect on your life.

@ Joy – Yeah, hangovers can be a pain. A good trick is to drink lots of water just before going to bed. Or even better, do not drink alcohol

A drink or two is good for the stomach.
Drinking with no control, forgetting all the important things to do,hurting yourself and others is not good.
Most people who drink too much are inconsiderate to others as alcohol blows ones ego.
One is not themselves,it is like something driving them.But even with that said, there is nothing that love and understanding cannot solve.
