Dan,
Great respect for your thoughts – but please acknowledge the authors of some of these quotes(Give Covey credit for your first paragraph, I read it from him before reading it here). I can mention afew.
It goes along way in making you a an authentic writer – take that from me I write(but on something technical and specific). And it can spoil your potential too. No offence.

@ Sublimity – Always interesting to have you comment on the blog. Today you jolted me..in my university days, my lecturers frowned on a monster called plagiarism.
So I hit Google to see when Steve Covey might have said those words. Not even Google had heard Steven Covey say those words. I am not sure where you got your information from.
I am happy to credit people for their work as much as I would love to be credited for my work. I will humbly acknowledge Covey or anyone who has said the same words as me.
I am here to inspire people in my own words, and when my words are not enough, I may call on the words of others to help drive the message home (with due credits of course)
Thank you

Sorry for the impression that “I jolted you” – Covey has what he calls 10/90 rule and I have it on PDF. PM me your mail I will forward to you.
Keep writing.
