Qualitative or quantitative contribution? That is the One billion dollar question!

Contribution is intangible i believe. that making a contribution doesnt necessarily have to put a PC in every humans house/office. Successful contribution in my opinion is that which makes a better day for someones life and adds a smile on someones face.

Sadam Hussein, George Bush, Idi Amin, Alen Wekesa, Edward Kennedy, Barack Obama, Sasha Obama, Daniel Ngari et al made/are making contributions to life every day but what contributions matter?

Contributions that maimed innocent lives and made families widowed and orphaned? Contributions that made people better humans to live with and be appreciated made a lasting contribution to Iraq and the world? Contribution that changed medical schience for the better or the worse of people? What contribution is the essence here.

Everyone makes a contribution in one way or the other but whatever contribution that brings joy, saves lives, changes negative perception, removes sorrow, gives a chance even when it isnt deserved, feed a hungry mouth, cloths a naked body, keeps warm a desolate and desperate soul, that is the contribution that I want to be associated with and that to me is bigger and greater success than quantitative contribution. I want qualitative contributions coming out of me.

Nice piece Dan. And youve not paid youre yahoo messenger bills ama? hahahaha.... contribute bwana!

Wow, how could I have ever known? Even though I pride myself in the quest for all good quotes, this one caught me by surprise.

"Your legacy is directly proportional to your contribution."

Now I know. Thanks to you Dan

Wow, Dan, you make a difference in my life man, you really do. This is an awesome piece of work.
"I make them understand that if you got this (brains)
then you follow this (heart) and if someone ever tries to judge you
by what you make, you give them this (the finger)."
