Dan, I had to read this particular post twice. I can imagine the pain you must have gone to listen to your ‘friends’ talk ill against your family. Perhaps it was the main reason for the rain that night.. God works in mysterious ways remember. We all into this blog together, working to be the best that we can be!! This is a gift to each of us and opportunities like this don’t come by easily. I am glad for you once more!!!

Randomly ran into this blog; I’m glad i did.
Totally awesome.
My mom happens to be a teacher. Tell you what, I am everything I am today BECAUSE OF HER BEING A TEACHER, AND THEN MY MOTHER (In that order).
I have MAXIMUM respect for teachers (except my High school Physics/Maths teacher, ooops).
And oh, Karma (and God) takes damn good care of people who make it their buisiness to “Bring people down” . I’ll have you know that. Let people be hey? Not all lawyers have to be malicious:).

Very inspiring. Yes only by helping others can we really attain true and long lasting success. I was reading about a story of one of the greatest surgeons in the U.S. He pioneered many of the modern day neuro surgery technics in use today. But what made him a cut above the rest was he inspired others not only fellow doctors but also his patients, going out of his way to save lives doing complicated procedures in the slums, saving lives of people who could not afford his fees for free. And he taught. He humbled himself. Was he successful? Yes he was. By the simple fact that he was a nuero-sergeon made him successful, rich too. He could have stopped there.But his decision to help others, doctors and society at large made him a cut above success for the next part of the story shows this.One day while riding his bike at the age of 60 something (I think) he hit a pot hole and landed on the pavement head first. He was paralyzed from neck down and that is when his success become obvious. People he had helped to success, doctors and patients alike flocked to his aid…many of the people he did not know….people he had inspired. His life was fuller as a cripple more than when he was able. Fellow doctors would still call on him to attend on complicated surgeries from his wheelchair….and so it goes, if you are after long lasting success, the stuff of legend, then stretch out your hand and help someone else succeed.
